Introducing Pikotto Lab

Hi, I'm Pikotto.
I've just launched a site called "Pikotto Lab."

What is Pikotto Lab?

Pikotto Lab is a place where I build handy little web services and line them up.

Whenever something feels "just a little inconvenient," I'd like to make it a bit easier, one thing at a time.

Our tagline is "One small convenience for your day."

About the name

"Pikotto" comes from the way a small idea suddenly pops into your head — in Japanese, that little pop is "piko."
"Lab" means a place where I try things out as I build them.

I chose the orange speech bubble for the logo because I wanted this to feel like a friendly, easygoing place where anyone can drop by.

Our first service

The first service is "Closed Test Board for Android."

It's a board where developers gather testers for each other's Google Play closed tests — the testing you need before you can publish an app on Google Play.
I'll write about why I made it in another note.

About these notes

In these notes, I'll write about what I made, what I learned, and what I thought.

• Records of building each service
• Things I learned along the way, and places I got stuck
• And now and then, a little small talk

Just like the services, I hope these notes are a little helpful to whoever reads them.

Thanks for stopping by Pikotto Lab!
